What We Do

Stromata e.V. creates educational, cultural and documentary materials about faith, knowledge, the human person and society. We are not interested in quick answers, but in attentive work with reality: research, conversation, publication and long-term value.

We bring careful research, conversation and documentary work together in formats intended for open access and learning.

Interviews and expert conversations

We prepare substantial conversations with researchers, specialists and practitioners, with attention to arguments, context and clear language.

Documentary journeys and stories

We work with places, people and traditions through filming, testimony and responsible documentary storytelling.

Educational and open materials

We publish materials for independent learning, attentive reading and continued public conversation.

Research and articles

We prepare texts that help distinguish confirmed information, interpretations and questions requiring further work.

How We Work

Work on each material follows three clear stages, from the initial question to open publication.

    First, the question

    We define the subject, the boundaries of the conversation and the public or educational purpose the material should serve.

  2. 02

    Then, research and form

    We check sources, seek conversation partners and choose the appropriate form: an article, interview or documentary work.

  3. 03

    Then, open material

    We publish the result in an accessible form and preserve the context needed for attentive reading and continued conversation.

Participation in Stromata’s work is possible through substantive cooperation or support for specific areas of work.
