Chapter 7

Concerning baptism, baptise as follows. After first saying all these things, baptise into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in living water.

If you have no living water, baptise in other water. If you cannot do so in cold water, use warm water.

If neither option is available, pour water over the head three times into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Before the baptism, let the one baptising and the one being baptised fast, along with any others who can. Require the person being baptised to fast for one or two days beforehand.
